Located in a mall at the South end of Xintiandi, Din Tai Fung is  perfect for a relaxing dinner with friends.  This Taiwanese chain serves the most decadent xiaolongbao (soup filled dumplings) which are consistently voted one of the world’s finest.  The restaurant offers a sophisticated ambience, quality food and an impeccable service at a premium price.

You might need to call in advance to make a reservation on weekends as it is usually packed.

Seesaw has been consecutively listed as one of the top Cafés in Shanghai.  The coffee boutique has a truly modern design, comfy decor and a peaceful atmosphere. Their fully flavoured coffee and attention to quality make them a local favourite.

The Café  sells the most delectable cookies baked by the local company Strictly Cookies.  Strictly Cookies was  nominated under Cityweekends best dessert category in 2015.

I highly recommend their cranberry cookies, they had some chocolate chips  in them! It was love at first bite.
